Talent measurement testing

This is to assess your preferred behaviours in the workplace and/or your ability in areas relevant to the role you have applied for e.g. numerical reasoning.

Step 5

Second interview

You will be asked further questions to assess your abilities, work behaviours and motivation. You will again have the opportunity to ask questions about the role and moneycorp.

Interview Tips

Going to an interview no matter how experienced you are can be a daunting prospect, please find a few tips below to help calm those nerves!

Before your interview

  • Research the company
  • Learn the company’s vision, mission and values
  • Research the role
  • Consider the key skills needed for the role and prepare examples of when you have demonstrated those skills
  • Make a list of appropriate questions to ask about the company and the role
  • Make sure you know the names of the people who are interviewing you
  • Double, triple check the date, time and location of the interview
  • Plan your route to the interview location and allow plenty of travel time

The day of your interview

  • Consider your appearance and dress appropriately, smart business wear is normally appropriate but if you are unsure just ask!
  • Arrive at least 10 minutes before the interview so you can get comfortable in your surroundings

The interview

There are many different types of interview style e.g. face to face, group interviews however there tends to be the same similarities:

  • Welcome and introduction
  • Information about the company and the role
  • Questions to assess your abilities, work behaviours and motivation
  • The opportunity to ask questions
  • Next steps information

Points to be aware of during the interview:

  • An assessment will be made on the information you provide so make sure you consider your responses to any questions
  • Do not be afraid to ask for a question to be repeated, or to ask if you can come back to a question if you need longer to consider your answer
  • Think about your body language, try to maintain eye contact and remember to smile
  • Try to relax! You will probably be a bit nervous but that is completely natural
